Book a corporate event DJ anywhere in the Netherlands, one agency for Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague and Eindhoven.
When you search for a corporate events DJ you are usually not looking for one city, you are looking for one agency that can put the right DJ on your company party whether it lands in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague or Eindhoven. That is what this page is for. Lupa Entertainment is a corporate DJ bureau that books a named DJ for company parties, product launches, awards evenings and year-end galas across the whole of the Netherlands, with travel built into one transparent quote and one coordinator on the night.
Lupa Entertainment was founded in 2018 by Noam Bargil, a working bandleader, and has produced more than 300 events for teams at Heineken, Microsoft, Salesforce, Booking.com, IBM, Canon, ING and the City of Amsterdam. We work from a fixed roster of 14 acts we have personally seen and briefed, so there is no marketplace pool and no unknown stand-in. A corporate DJ reflects on your organisation in front of clients and colleagues, has to sit under the speeches without killing the room, and has to lift a mixed-age crowd onto the floor the moment the formal programme ends. We book the DJ for exactly that brief, in your city, and we handle the logistics that come with sending an act outside Amsterdam.
How it works
Which corporate DJ fits which company event
For a corporate event the choice starts with the format and the audience, not the genre. Below the acts we put on most company nights across the country, with what each one is right for.
| Corporate event type | Guest count | Act we book most | Why this one |
|---|---|---|---|
| Year-end gala or awards evening | 100 to 800 | Golden Sax, DJ with live saxophone | Fills dinner under conversation level, lifts the tempo after the speeches, looks premium for a client-facing room |
| Product launch or brand activation | 100 to 1500 | Drumpet Disco, DJ with live trumpet and drums | High-impact opening moment, festival energy, visual theatre a laptop alone cannot deliver |
| Staff party or summer company party | 80 to 400 | Drumpet Disco or a pure DJ set | Reads a mixed-age workforce, keeps a full floor from the first track to the curfew |
| Conference after-party or networking drinks | 50 to 300 | Golden Sax for the room, pure DJ for the late floor | Background sax during networking, then a dance set once the lanyards come off |
Every booking includes a full sound system for your guest count and a basic dance-floor light show. For a launch in a raw space, a crowd above 250 or an outdoor activation we upgrade the production and list it as a separate line. Many corporate clients pair the DJ with live musicians earlier in the evening through our live music for corporate events guide, and the whole roster sits on our artiestenbureau.
What a nationwide corporate DJ actually delivers
The gap between a club or wedding DJ and a true corporate DJ shows up in three places, and none of them is the playlist:
- Reading a working crowd. A corporate room is colder than a wedding. Nobody is there for the music, half of them came for the speeches and would leave at 22:30 if the floor felt forced. Our DJs learned to turn that room by playing corporate nights for Microsoft, IBM, ING and Booking.com.
- Sitting under the programme. A corporate DJ has to hold dinner and the speeches at a level where someone at the lectern is heard clearly, then move the energy up the second the programme ends, without an awkward silence in between.
- Working with your AV and venue. A corporate event usually has an AV supplier, a stage, screens and a strict end time. Our DJ aligns the technical rider with your team ahead of the day and respects the venue cap.
Coverage and travel across the Netherlands
We are an Amsterdam agency, but our DJs work corporate events nationwide every week. In Rotterdam we play De Doelen and the harbour event spaces, in The Hague the World Forum, in Utrecht TivoliVredenburg, in Eindhoven the High Tech Campus and Strijp-S, alongside Amsterdam rooms like the Westergasfabriek and the Gashouder. Travel inside roughly 50km of Amsterdam carries no fee. Further afield we itemise a transparent travel line in the quote rather than hiding it in the act fee, so the cost of reaching Eindhoven, Maastricht or Groningen is never buried. For a purely Amsterdam booking, our dedicated corporate event DJ Amsterdam page goes into the local venues and decibel rules in more detail.
Prices for a corporate event DJ in the Netherlands
A corporate event DJ starts at EUR 850 for a pure DJ set with sound and basic lighting. A DJ with full event production, meaning a larger PA, a dance-floor lighting rig and DMX control, starts at EUR 1,500. A hybrid act, a DJ with a live saxophone or trumpet, sits between those depending on the lineup, and is the option most corporate clients choose for a client-facing night. The Q4 corporate season in November and December runs at the top of the range because every gala lands in the same few weeks. Every quote is itemised, including transport, BumaStemra copyright, 9 percent VAT on the artistic performance and 21 percent VAT on technical services, with no hidden agency margin, so your finance team can read it line by line.
Hiring a DJ for a company party or bedrijfsfeest
The company party is where a corporate DJ earns the booking. The setup we put on most is a single act that covers both halves of the night: a quiet, premium dinner set under the speeches, then a dance floor once the formal part is done. Golden Sax does exactly that, the saxophone carrying the room during dinner and the DJ lifting the tempo when the programme ends. For a launch or a staff party that wants a loud opening, Drumpet Disco brings the live trumpet and drums for the wow moment, then settles into a set that keeps a mixed workforce on the floor. We brief the DJ on sponsor and VIP names, the running order and the must-play and do-not-play list, and we put one coordinator on site, often Noam himself.
Common mistakes when booking a corporate DJ
- Treating it like a wedding DJ booking. A corporate room needs a DJ who can read a colder, working crowd, not just play hits.
- No brief from the events team. A DJ without the running order, the speech timings and the brand tone plays generic, and a generic corporate party empties early.
- Forgetting the AV handover. If the DJ and your AV supplier have not spoken before the day, the music drops out during the changeover from the formal programme. We close that gap in advance.
- Booking the December gala late. The Q4 season fills first. For a November or December corporate date, book at least 4 to 5 months ahead.
