Live bands, DJs and jazz for company parties, conferences and galas across the Netherlands.
Corporate entertainment is not one product, it is a decision. A keynote with 400 people standing afterward needs a different act from a seated awards dinner, a Friday team party, or a brand launch where the room has to feel something on the way in. Booking the wrong format is the most common and most expensive mistake we see: a six-piece band hired for a networking dinner that needed a quiet trio, or a polite jazz act booked for a party that needed a floor. This page is the menu and the logic: every corporate entertainment option we provide across the Netherlands, what each one is for, and how to choose between a band, a DJ, a jazz trio or a hybrid act.
Lupa Entertainment is a boutique music agency in Amsterdam, founded in 2018 by Noam Bargil, working bandleader of Benga Band. Fixed roster of 14 acts we have personally seen and coached, over 300 events since 2018 for clients including Heineken, Microsoft, Salesforce, IBM, Booking.com, ING, Canon and Tommy Hilfiger. We coordinate the whole evening through one contact, work to your AV and production team, and send one invoice your finance department can process without chasing five suppliers.
How it works
How to choose corporate entertainment
Start with the job the music has to do, not the act you like. There are really four jobs at a corporate event and each points to a different format. If the room has to talk, network and eat, you want jazz at conversation level. If the room has to dance after a sit-down, you want a party band or a DJ, or both. If you need a single moment of impact, a brand reveal or an awards walk-on, you want a high-energy hybrid act. And if the budget or the room is small, a DJ does more for less than any band. Match the job first and the act becomes obvious.
Which corporate entertainment format fits
| The job | Best format | From |
|---|---|---|
| Networking, drinks, seated dinner | Jazz trio (Dupa Trio) | EUR 1,400 |
| Company party with a full dance floor | Party band (Benga Band) | EUR 3,000 |
| Budget or compact room, all night | DJ | EUR 850 |
| Brand launch, reveal, high-impact opener | Drumpet Disco, live trumpet over a DJ | from band/DJ rate |
| Late floor to close a long evening | Savoy DJ with production | EUR 1,500 |
The corporate acts we book most across the Netherlands
For a company party with a real dance floor our most-booked act is Benga Band, a full party band playing funk, Latin, soul and pop with its own sound and light production included. For a brand launch or a conference evening that needs a single hit of energy, Drumpet Disco puts a live trumpet player and a drummer on stage with a DJ, which lands as a festival moment rather than background. For the dinner and networking part of the night Dupa Trio plays jazz at conversation level. Golden Sax adds a live saxophonist over a DJ set for a premium reception, and Savoy, our roster DJ, closes the late floor by bridging soul and Motown into modern dance for a multi-generation company crowd.
Building a full corporate evening
Most corporate evenings are not one act, they are a sequence. A typical company gala or product-launch night runs jazz during arrival and dinner, a host or awards segment with the music ducked, then a party band or DJ for the floor. We design the whole run-of-show and coordinate it through one point of contact, working to your AV team's cues so the music never steps on a speech or a video. A common combination is dinner jazz plus a dance band plus a late DJ, which we quote as one transparent package rather than three separate invoices. For a band-led corporate booking see corporate band Netherlands, and for an English-performing act for an international audience see corporate bands for international events.
Nationwide coverage and travel
We are an Amsterdam agency but corporate work takes our acts across the whole country. We regularly produce at the High Tech Campus and Strijp-S in Eindhoven, De Doelen and Hotel New York in Rotterdam, TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, the World Forum area near Den Haag, and the Amsterdam corporate rooms at Westergasfabriek, the Gashouder, the A'DAM Toren and Kantine25. Travel inside roughly 50km of Amsterdam carries no fee. Further afield we itemise a transparent travel line in the quote, so the cost of reaching Eindhoven, Maastricht or Groningen is never buried in the act fee.
Prices for corporate entertainment in the Netherlands
A DJ starts at EUR 850, or EUR 1,500 with its own sound and light production, which is the most cost-effective way to cover a whole evening. A jazz trio for dinner and networking starts at EUR 1,400. A full party band of four pieces and up starts at EUR 3,000 with sound and light included, and each extra musician adds EUR 500, so a bigger six-piece for a large room lands around EUR 4,000. A soloist for a quiet reception starts at EUR 600. Most corporate clients combine a dinner act with a dance act and a late DJ, which we package into one quote. Final pricing depends on lineup, set length, date, venue and any travel. Send us your date, venue and headcount and we come back within one business day.
Entertainment for a company party
For a Friday team party or a year-end celebration the brief is simple: a floor that fills and stays full. That is a party band or a DJ, not a jazz act. Benga Band opens and holds a floor with its own production, and a DJ either replaces it on a tighter budget or extends the night after the band finishes. Booking a band for the peak and a DJ for the late hours is the most reliable party setup we sell. For the party-band view across the country see party band Netherlands and ons artiestenbureau for the full roster.
Entertainment for conferences and brand launches
A conference evening or a product launch is about a moment, not a marathon. The music has to mark the reveal, lift the room on the way in, or send delegates out on a high. A hybrid act like Drumpet Disco gives you that single hit of energy without committing to a full band all night, and a jazz trio covers the calmer networking hours around it. We brief every act on the cue sheet so the impact lands on the second it is meant to, working to your production timeline rather than against it.
Common mistakes booking corporate entertainment
- Booking a full band for a networking dinner. A six-piece cannot play under conversation, and a dinner wants a trio or a soloist.
- Booking a quiet act for a party. A polite jazz set will not fill a floor, and a company party needs a band or a DJ built for it.
- Forgetting the speech and AV cues. An act with no MC discipline will play over a speech or a video.
- Treating the evening as one act. Most corporate nights need a sequence: dinner act, then floor act, then a late DJ.
- Booking late. The strongest corporate acts fill December party season many months out.
The booking process
- 1Send us your date, venue and headcount, plus the run-of-show: dinner, speeches, awards and when the floor opens
- 2We come back within one business day with the right format for each part of the evening, not the biggest act
- 3You review the acts on video and we lock the run-of-show to your AV and production timeline
- 4One coordinator runs the night with your event team, one invoice your finance department can process
