A national booking starts with the same questions as any party, guest count, room, the mix of your crowd and the decibel limit, plus one more, how far the band has to travel and whether it brings its own production. Here are the acts we book most for parties across the Netherlands.

Every act arrives with its own full sound system and basic dance-floor lighting, which matters more the further you are from a city with easy supplier access. For a venue with a decibel cap under 90dB we brief the band and choose a smaller lineup. Prices for a party band in the Netherlands

A full party band starts at EUR 3,000 for a four-piece with sound and lighting included, and every extra musician adds EUR 500, so a five-piece sits near EUR 3,500 and a six-piece like Benga Band near EUR 4,000. An eight-piece such as Your Band sits above that. If you want a quieter dinner set before the floor opens, a jazz trio starts at EUR 1,400 and an acoustic duo at EUR 1,000. A DJ to close the night is from EUR 850, with full production from EUR 1,500. Travel beyond 50km of Amsterdam and accommodation for long drives are itemised separately, so a booking in Maastricht or Groningen has no hidden surprises. A party band for a corporate event in the Netherlands

Corporate parties are a large part of what we do nationwide. What a party band needs to travel across the Netherlands

• Self-contained production. Outside the big cities you cannot assume a backline or PA rental nearby, so the band brings and tests its own on arrival.
• Real travel planning. Load-in times, parking for a van at a country estate or a dockside hall, and accommodation for a late finish far from home, all settled before the contract.
• Bilingual fluency. A bandleader who runs the whole night in English and Dutch, not a few words.
• A named understudy per role. The further the venue, the more a same-day replacement matters. Every Lupa contract names one.

Common mistakes when booking a party band outside Amsterdam

• Limiting the search to local acts. The strongest bands travel, and a one-town search shrinks the shortlist for no reason.
• Forgetting the travel and accommodation line until the quote. We itemise it up front so the budget is real.
• Booking late for a summer Saturday or December. Top acts fill six to nine months out, the best venues earlier.
• Skipping the DJ pickup. Most venues cap live music around 23:00, so a DJ keeps the floor going to the end.
• No named musicians in the contract. A marketplace booking far from home is the riskiest place to get an unknown stand-in.
